As a member of the Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics - the official local affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics - you have the opportunity to support and be a part of the premier professional organization for mathematics educators at all levels (PreK-20) in Hawaii. Run by teachers, for teachers, HCTM provides quality professional development, a forum to network and share ideas, and a voice for math teachers across the state.

As teachers ourselves, we understand how challenging this year has been for you and your students, and how equally difficult the coming months will be. We also know how exciting the start of a new school year can be, with brand new faces and infinite possibilities.
With math being so important to student success and with unique challenges of its own, the Hawaii Council of Teachers of Mathematics is here to support you as we all venture into uncharted territory together.
With the start of a new academic year comes the start of a new membership year, and it's time for continuing members to renew and for those fresh faces among us to join our ranks. We are the local affiliate of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and the premier professional organization run exclusively for and by math teachers. Your support helps us to provide the local community of mathematics educators with quality professional development and enrichment opportunities throughout the year.
We'd be grateful if you would take a few minutes during this very busy and hectic time to join us for the first time or renew your membership. Together we can make this a banner year for our students.

The easiest way to become a member is to register through our page on Eventbrite. Payment can be made through Paypal, check, or purchase order. Those who register for one of our conferences at the regular paid non-member rate will also receive a complimentary membership for the duration of the standard one-year membership (ends August 31).
